The interface MMM creates index files for mathematical preprints and published articles. The created file contains so called HTML META Tags which are useful for search engines to retrieve and provide documentation for the paper.

AUTHOR

• Title of paper

URL

• URL of the electronic version of the paper. Currently the preferred format is .ps.gz
  In case the paper is available in different formats and/or places also a remark should be made in the notes field.
• Ordinary bibliographic reference, if paper is not available electronically.

MSC Primary/Secondary

• Primary/Secondary classification according to the Mathematics Subjects Classification scheme

ZDM

• Classification according to the Zentralblatt für Didaktik der Mathematik

PACS

• Classification according to the Physics and Astronomy Classification Scheme

CR

• Classification according to the ACM Computing classification system

KEYWORDS

• Keywords for paper. Multiple keywords separated with comma(s)

UPLOAD

• Date the paper is first made available. Syntax: YYYYMMDD, i.e. 19961231 as coding for 31 December 1996

UPDATE

• Date the available version was last changed.

TYPE

• Default is PREPRINT. Change to PUBLISHED if applicable.
  A paper is called `published' if it appeared in a refereed journal or other refereed collection.

SERIES

• Name of collection the paper is part of. No valid abbreviations.

• This tag is only valid for published papers. If answered to the positive the Zentralblatt for Mathematics, the MathReviews and other similar periodicals are allowed to use the given author abstract for their databases till a reviewers abstract is available.

EMAIL

• e-mail address of at least one of the authors.

ABSTRACT

• URL locating an abstract of the paper provided by the authors in a file tagged as HTML in the body of the file.
• The abstract should not be longer than 12 lines of 80 characters each.
• The abstract should be embraced by the HTML comments:

NOTES

• URL locating additional information (notes) provided by the authors on the paper in a file tagged as HTML in the body of the file.
• Notes should not exceed 5 lines of 80 characters each.
• Notes could for instance contain postal addresses of the authors, a remark whether the paper originates from a theses, information on the revision history of the paper, hints on work subsequent to the paper by the authors or others.
• The notes should be embraced by the HTML comments:
